Descending the unlit, cold, concrete and steel stairs that led to bustling center for getting whatever it is one needed: The Underground, Tuesday had her leather attire cloaking her body from any prying eyes. Darkness stretched a long ways, only obstructed by four thin streams of light--which Tuesday knew was a doorway.

Keeping her steady pace, Tuesday reached the doorway after a few moments. She knocked on the cold, metal door and nodded at the low toned, hallow sound that rang out at her every knock.

"Password," a low growl spat.

"Braze," she replied; she'd gotten the password from a few of her close contacts that still remained. Braze was sort for Braze Lightning, a wildly popular drink sold in every club and store around. It gave the drinker a real rush of adrenaline that lasted for hours.

The sound of locks and the creak of the door broke Tuesdays expression because the door let brilliant white light spill out and momentarily blind her. "Wicked ax," she cursed, "You could warn a person before you open a door--the lights dretch up the eyes." Tuesday scolded the huge wall of a man. She wasn't afraid of him, though since she'd seen scarier things than a beefcake.

Stepping further, Tuesdays eyes scanned the contents of the Underground. Like thingyroaches, she thought irritated at the mess of people down there. Rushing forward, pushing and shoving, Tuesday found a rugged curtain of black silk and pulled it back. Inside, there was a cherry-red haired young man there.

"Mad at it, Tuesday, you could send message to the Underground warning that you're coming to reek havoc," he scolded.

"Save it, Garnet, I need some new hardware." She leaned against the wall and crossed her arms, her leather attire creaking slightly.

Rising up from his levitating black couch, Garnet stood in his complete six-foot-one, slim frame. His long bright red hair was pulled back in a tail, but several strands were loose--a sign that he'd had a bad morning. "You're always here for new hardware. What do you want now," he scoffed.

"I need a new eye-scanner and datastrip." Datastrips were useful for tapping into the mainframe of every building within Ulema. But, they were detected after a while. The only way to keep from being traced was to smash and burn the datastrips--after saving all the data gathered--and buying new ones.

A sly grin crossed Garnet's lips as he stepped up to Tuesday. "And, how do you plan to pay for these," he asked as he started to caress her cheek.

Grabbing Garnet's wrist, Tuesday blinked slowly then glared up at the tall man. "Touch me, and I'll knock the Hell out of you."

Yanking back his hand, Garnet rubbed his wrist. Tuesday had a solid grasp. "At one time, I heard you'd do all you could to get supplies," he remarked with a bit of a laugh.

"Before I learned how to cheat, steal, and lie," she informed. "I'm here to make a bargain."

"Name it." Garnet retorted.

"Tell me what you need." Tuesday said bluntly.

Looking up and down Tuesday's body, Garnet started to reply. But, she stopped him. "Other than that," she hissed as she got up from leaning against the wall. She stalked around the small area Garnet used to sell illegal electronics. "Surely, you're in low supply of something."

"Fine, you find me a working, full-fledged heat sensor, I'll get you the eye scanner and datastrip."

"Two datastrips." Tuesday butt in.

"One datastrip and one eye-scanner for one heat senser--working at that. Good luck finding one, they've been out of circulation for months." Garnet laughed.

Tuesday smirked. "If anyone can find one, it'll be me," she replied. "I have eyes in every dark corner of this city, as if you've forgotten how they saved your pathetic as--"

"Tuesday." Garnet warned.

"You owe me," she hissed. "Two datastrips."

Garnet grabbed Tuesdays arm and led her to the door, surprised that she let him do so. He pulled back the silk curtain and held Tuesday at the doorway. "You get the heat-sensor and bring it back, and we'll discuss terms for a second datastrip."

"Stellar." Tuesday replied (it means the same as awesome) with a sincere smile. Then, she took her leave.
